Russia’s avg gasoline price rises 1 kopeck on fuel stations by Mon

MOSCOW, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- The average gasoline price on Russian fuel stations grew by 1 kopeck on the week to 43.43 rubles per liter as of Monday, diesel fuel prices remained unchanged, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Thursday.

Fuel prices grew rapidly in April and May. The government had to cut excises on gasoline and diesel fuel, and agreed with the largest oil companies to fix prices at the level as of May 30 while the government works on measures to support the industry.
